A secret report by ‘Imad al-Dawlah in which he expresses his great concern about the presence of forty high ranking Shiite clergymen in Qazvin, who believe themselves to be in charge of the people of the area and as a result, take their endowments and belongings. He also writes about the death of Mirza ‘Abd al-Karim (the court's trustee and the accountant of Qazvin), whose riches have gone to the Shaykh al-Islam of Qazvin, as a result of his lacking an elder son.
